Early Morning

Now we get to the part of conference I hate... getting up before the sun. Blah. It did make for a nice view - this is from the 5th floor of the Kellogg Hotel on the campus of Gallaudet University.

I had my poster this afternoon. It wasn't bad, the time went pretty quick and I talked with some rather interesting folks. Many of our European collegues missed the conference because of the volcano, which was quite evident in these sessions. I also got lots of free stuff from the vendors Sunday and Monday, which is half the fun of the conferences I go to! :)

For lunch I ate a margarita pizza, which turned out to be a horrible idea. My stomach staged a mini-protest - too much grease! I had been hoping I was getting better... little did I know how wrong I was.
