Lighthouse
Point Loma Lighthouse
May gray hits San Diego, just in time to shoot the lighthouse. I shot the pictures for a friend. He wanted the exterior of the lighthouse, but I couldn't help but climb the spiral staircase to the top and shoot the actual light up through the grate. Call me adventurous! ;]
I went with my girl and a fellow member of our inFOCUS Photo group. It was great. I could shoot all day. Getting low and changing angles, the same shot 3 or 4 times, as the flowers blow in the breeze. There is just something about it. I am so hooked. I got the composition down for the most part, it is the metering, the f-stop, shutter speed, focal length, white balance, ISO...do I go on...I am lost at times. I forget what goes with what. Seems like a foreign language to me. I want to know, and I read on it, or someone tells me patiently, and then I forget. "Dang...what am I suppose to do in this situation"? But I am trying. It is still fun, and that is what matters.
Have an enjoyable weekend!!!
