Cricket Macro

My blip subject came to me today and just as well as it's cold and wet outside.
This little chap was on my kitchen bench this morning; it must have come in on some vegetables yesterday. It might look like a large beast but infact its body is only 1cm long. It wasn't very happy about being photographed; was very active and wouldn't stay still for one second before hopping off .Some drastic treatment was needed and after 5 minutes in the fridge to cool him down he was drowsy enough to get a shot.
Cricket returned to the wilds unharmed
