Spring in Baku.

Mum's last morning in Baku before she and I went on our girls' trip to Uzbekistan. After a pretty cold miserable week we had lovely sunny weather and spent some time exploring Martyrs' Alley. I loved the new leaves on this tree which seem to go the wrong way - from red to green.

Martyrs' Alley is a cemetery commemorating those killed in Baku in January 1990 and in the Nagorno-Karabakh war.
