Today we had the official opening of the academic year by our Rector Magnificus. This tradition was abandoned since world war two but reinstated last year. I think it's nice to have old traditions, we should celebrate that the university has been around since 1614. The new logo and colour were also presented today: from now on everything is going to be red.

On another note, I also ran into the scary clown nh blipped yesterday. He appeared to be begging for money. I don't think scaring people is the best way.

Decided to change my blip. Last night I didn't have any software to crop / adjust the photo so I decided to use the one that looked best untouched. The old blip can be found here. The new blip shows university at its best I believe. Professors and students standing side by side.
