End of Season Success

A weekend in Mull for the last Mini Rugby games of this season.

Speedy and his p5 team, + a couple of P4's - named the Lenzie Lions played fantastically to win the 2010 Mull RFC "Dalriada" Trophy.

He played out of his skin scoring 15 trys in the 3 games played much to Gordon, his coaches, delight - I think because I was coaching the Lenzie Warrior who the Lions beat in the final. Gordon awarded Speedy "Player of the Day" and "Player of the Year" a good end to the season.

The coach for the Warriors aka mum was not sure whether to be delighted or disappointed so we went for delighted.

This is the 4th year we have made the trip to Mull and it never disappoints - all the things I love, my family, rugby, beautiful scenery and wildlife (see tomorrows blip), camping, bbq and bonfire - fantastic.
