City of burning tires

Taken from my balcony this afternoon - Thailand is no longer the "Land of Smiles." The good news is that we are safe where we live, but frequent sounds of explosions and gunfire can be heard in our 16th floor condo. I hope this comes to a resolution soon - but the problem was years in the making, so a quick end is unlikely.
