Ne Me Quitte Pas
Lovely weekend deep in the Blackdown Hills visiting Kay and Mark. This shows Kay at the top of the Culmstock Beacon, this is possibly the only beacon hut to survive in its original form and was used as a communications signal ready for use when the Spanish Armada was sighted in the English Channel in 1588.
Dinner was had at the Culm Valley Inn which comes highly recomended and then back to sit by the fire.
[i]If you go away, if you go away, if you go away
But if you stay, I'll make you a day
Like no day has been or will be again
We'll sail on the sun, we'll ride on the rain
We'll talk to the trees and worship the wind
Then if you go, I'll understand
Leave me just enough love to hold in my hand
If you go away, If you go away, If you go away
'If you go away' Dusty Springfield
Also listened to a great version by Jacque Brel.
