This is Dave Cohen rakuing a plate with a fish fused onto it.

I had many dramatic fire, spark and smoke photos to choose from but this one shows a little more clearly the plate as it sits on a bed of flames of sawdust fire.

I'm not going to attempt to relate any technical details of the process, Dave himself or TwaCrowsFeet, (Donald) is much more qualified to do this. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that anyone watching this process comes out smelling liked a smoked kipper minus the fishy smell.
