Back home

It's been a long weekend in the south of Finland. I had a great time but now I'm getting a bit tired. It's been very sunny and warm: apparently Finland has been one of the warmest, if not THE warmest place in Europe during the past few days, with temperatures rising to 25-30 C / 77-86 F. My friend Harri and I sat four hours in a train today coming back from the visit to Hevosmies and his fiancée. After grabbing some food at my home we headed 70 km north to Joensuu for our friend's Birthday. These balloons in their guest bedroom were left over from a May Day celebration. I had to drive back home since it's back to work tomorrow morning for me. Ho-hum...
