Wildlife?

Smiley organised a visit to the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust place near us so she could take some pics for a wildlife photography competition she wants to enter.

As well as genuine wildlife, they have a lot of captive birds.

Youngest took a good few pictures, including this one, finding that the not-so-wild birds were big, colourful, and willing to pose for photos.

We had a traditional English picnic. (that's one you eat in the car where you left the raincoats because you thought it might not actually rain and you didn't want to carry all that stuff around with you)

Then we went to the gift shop and didn't buy a fluffy otter, or a wind-up torch in the shape of a duckling. Or even a mug with Nagging Old Woman on it, which my dear Youngest thought I should get.
