Today's treat was a visit to the most complete "Arts and Crafts" garden in Cheshire at Tirley Garth. Lovely sunshine that was nearly warm, stunning garden and lots of people enjoying it. It was open under the National Garden Scheme to support charities, including Macmillan. The garden layout is very formal near the house and moving to much more informal as you get further away. I really liked the structures of the walls and fencing softened by the planting as here. Excellent tea and cakes - there may be a theme going on here with our Sundays.
