dragon hatchling

today we had a lovely day out at the Tolkien festival at sarehole mill, which is very close to where we live, where he grew up and we took a guided walk around his boyhood haunts including moseley bog and the dell of flowers

I'm pretty sure there are loads of photos around of characters dressed in pointy ears carrying swords so this is my blip from the day...My youngest got a dragon hatchling (in a geode) which I think is quite nice.
