Birthday Disco...

Today was wee C and wee R's joint 5th birthday disco party, and a good time was had by all. The DJ was excellent, music ranged from Lady GaGa to Hannah Montana, with everything in between! Wee D had a blast - he danced for 2 hours solid, and was the only boy who did - all the rest just ran round the hall in circles, chasing balloons. Wee C was strutting some rather excellent moves, and showing the other girls how it was supposed to be done. We really should get her in to some dance classes... :-)

This is a rather busy photo - the must-have blowing-out-the-candles-on-the-cake shot. The two dads carried in the huge Costco cake (see, definitely not Nigella after all - what a cheat!), with a rather spectacular candle on top - poor wee C did not realise she'd have no chance of blowing this one out!!

After all this, it was home to open up some presents (it would be cruel to make wee C wait till her actual birthday!), get the kids to bed, and relax with the Markies £10 meal deal, some nice wine, cider & a bit of SingStar... Great stuff!
