That's how my bird book describes the song of the chaffinch. I have to say it's pretty accurate, a fairly standard repeated note then a sudden flourish at the end. This guy was loving singing it today, over and over again. I always think it's funny how every bird of same type makes exactly the same noises. Imagine if humans just had one warning call and one song! :)
