Every now and then, you get a coin that's super shiny. You might admire it for a bit, put it in your purse or wallet with some others, and ultimately just spend it.

The Chancellor said today that he will announce an 'emergency budget' on 22 June, and it's expected that VAT will rise. Sure the 10k tax threshold will save some money, but on the flip side, they'll take it all back [and then some] in other ways.

So, it might be a good idea to save some of these. I made a start on my own 'efficiency savings' by accident today. I forgot my wallet so couldn't spend at Tesco, and they were filling the vending machine at work when I went to get crisps! As they say, take care of the pennies...
