Vicia Faba Aquadulce Claudia

I was tempted to blip this pic, as the quickest and most effective way to tidy the garden is to mow the grass. But the flowers won the day.

Vicia faba, the Broad Bean, Fava Bean, Field Bean, Bell Bean or as you prefer, the Tic Bean, gives flowers with a heady perfume and beans which melt in the mouth. Aquadulce Claudia is a winter-hardy variety and mine have been keeping the peas company since November last year.

I believe they make rather good falafel too.
