DIY recovery kit

This is my personal medicine kit, which I'm now using to treat an infected wound on my back...the kit consists of antibiotics, sterile wipes and sterile self-adhesive dressings.

Today the doctor cleaned it by sticking some kind of instrument directly into the inflammation in order to open the wound. He never warned me before doing it (this seems to be a familiar habit in Finland, the same thing happened to me at the dentist once, and it's not a language issue!!), it hurt like hell and left me squealing like a pig!!

No pain, no gain.
