Old Faithful
Rain all morning and an overcast sky all afternoon with the threat of more to come. Needless to say I stayed indoors. Still have loads of images from the Boston trip to process, so it was time well spent. Only another five days of photographs to work my way through.
It was a question of relying on my stock subject for today's blip -- the hibiscus bush on the back deck, which incidentally I repotted yesterday afternoon.
The rain did indeed come again. The rain drops on the petals may well be a hackneyed shot that has been done a thousand times before, and probably better, but it was a case of any port in a storm.
Incidentally, I wish I had used my wife's Ricoh CX1 for this shot. The little Ricoh excels at macro.
