National Geographic in the city

This strange looking bird was standing by the pond and we were all looking at her.

I was really pleased that she she let me take pictures of her without budging too much..

...and then all of a sudden she plunged into the water and cought this golden fish! Wow! that was quick and i was so happy to capture it!

The 2 kiddies next to me started crying.. and the little boy shooed her away!

an hour later she was still there...
