Cracked

I walk over this pavement most days, and until today, hadn't noticed what a messed-up state it's in. All the cars, trucks and vans that park on it have reduced it to crazy paving.

Later, I heard some guy being interviewed on the radio. He had a website and a book to plug, funnily enough. Apparently the poor chap was addicted to brands: couldn't resist them, £20,000 in debt, ruined his life...blah blah blah.

"It was really hard living without brands for a year," he bleated.

There are many things in life that are hard. Getting a wheelchair along this pavement among them, I'd imagine. But going without your Lacoste? No, I don't think so.
