Dingy Skipper

Out and about with Clare (wife) today. She's my ears and eyes as well as being a competent photographer. She spotted these newly hatched Dingy Skippers which are not, as their name suggests, immediately dingy. However, later on in their life-cycle they gradually lose their scales and do look very dingy. Beauty sometimes fades!
