A griffin as a lampholder

This lamp is beside one of the doors of our Town hall. I have passed it hundreds of times and never seen it before, but when I was waiting for a friend and I spent my time spying for a blip I suddenly found this beautiful(!) lamp! The "blipping" makes you look at the world in a new way...!
