High on a Hill.....

Well it looks as though spring lasted about 2 weeks this year, and we've moved swiftly on to summer. The goats are free ranging again, and came up the hill with me to the wood. In winter, the animals are dependent on me for food, and rush up to me wanting just that. In the summer they mostly forage for themselves, and it's such a pleasure when they come up to me for affection and company.

I'll have to get my shearing blades sharpened, the sheep were lying around panting in the heat today (the sensible ones found shade)
