Oh my! The excitement!

Arrived downtown and behold! Flashing lights, police cars, fire trucks, and a complete intersection cordoned off, isolating one poor lonely bus. Rumors spread of a bomb scare, and I still needed my coffee and bagel so I wandered off.

Some doofus had left their schoolbag on the bus. It was reported as 'suspicious' to the driver, who contacted the authorities. It was over 90 minutes until the all clear was sounded. I guess someone's going to get a smacked bottom tonight.
