Astonishing....

beauty surrounds us at this time of year...and I (like so many blippers) can't resist the urge to try and capture that elusive magic that is spring coming into being! Everywhere you look, new life is appearing, growing so fast you can almost hear the leaves as they stretch out of their casings!

It's been a wonderful day here....bright and sunny, warm and just totally glorious!

I spent a lovely time exploring this little park on the edge of the Bra D'or lakes, on my way into Baddeck.....then home to spend some time rearranging my equipment in the studio. Still trying to find that perfect use of space....I think i've found it!!! My 2 wheels (the things potters use to turn a lump of clay into something useful, and hopefully beautiful!) face out towards the front door, ready to greet customers....and then to my left, the view out onto the pond and the surrounding shrubs and trees....just doesn't get much better than this!

Then a good productive day, threw (the term used by the same potters to describe the action of turning that piece of clay into....) lots of mugs, some teapots and some planters. Meanwhile, Terry built a wonderful new table for the workshop, big and high and on wheels - yeah!!! it's an amazing piece!

All this was rounded of with Big Hill Pizza night....homemade pizza and a beer or 2!

A very satisfying day on all counts!
