District 9

The weather was like a bad Scottish summer's day today (cold and wet), so the boy and I went to the Weta Cave. This is one of the guns designed by the Weta Workshop for use in the Peter Jackson film District 9.

I really like science fiction, especially when talented writers use future to comment on the present. I'm reading Time Out of Joint by Philip K. Dick at the moment: it's quite brilliant.
