Going nowhere!

Today should be a happy day - it is my friend's birthday and I've got a new dress all ready to go out and celebrate tonight. BUT the bug I thought I might be getting yesterday has got worse so I am going nowhere - certainly not where food is concerned.

This little orchid is cheering me though. It was bought last year from the 'bargain' shelf at the local garden centre and I love it's speckled, delicate colours and am delighted to see it flowering again - truly a bargain.

Happy Birthday Liz! (I'll save the dress for my birthday.)
