A fine pair of busts

These two lovely sandstone ladies hold up windows on a beautiful building beside George Sq, Glasgow.

They hark back to Glasgow's seafaring past & if you look below them you'll see Glasgows's coat of arms - tree, bird, fish, bell & ring. So ornate & good to stand under in the rain.

Always worth having a look up I think.
