Dragonfly

When I sat in my frontyard this dragonfly sat himself down beside me, on one of the plants.
I was stunned by its colors and when I uploaded the picture I was amazed by its alien-like appearance. Such amazing amber-colored eyes.
This is just a small one. I have seen bigger ones at the pond but they weren't that nicely colored.
