Time Flies.

I was running out of time and inspiration for today's blip. Hubby came to the rescue with his pocket watch.

I suppose this is an appropriate blip as today is my niece's 13th birthday, it seems like just yesterday she was a tiny baby. She's been through a lot in her life, she lost her Mum when she was 5 and her Dad couldn't care less about her. Thankfully she lives with my parents who have done a fantastic job raising her, she's a lovely girl to be around. I can't wait to see her in a couple of weeks when she comes to stay.

When speaking to her this evening to wish her Happy Birthday, she tells me that she will be fast tracked in her science GCSEs, to get this privilege you have to be in the top 30 in the group, she is 8th in that group and I am a VERY proud aunt today :-)
