Nesting
We took advantage of our two odd days off school to head over to Fife. When we (keep your fingers crossed - the other lawyers are still stalling) sell our house, we'll come and live here for a while, while we figure the rest of our lives out. This is the final house in a development that Mr B did over the past 5 years or so. Thanks to the scrupulous attentions of Fife Building Services, it didn't get on the market when it should have done, so didn't sell on the first day like the other two units did.
Mr B here is just revarnishing the outside woodwork to keep things in shape. He'd spent the morning stuck inside building shelves, while I mowed the (large) lawn. Even allowing for having brought the wrong shears, resulting in cutting most of the edges with scissors, and my cut grass allergy, resulting in a heavy head and a lot of sniffing, it was still better to be outside. Beautiful sunny day. Spent a good amount of time lying under dandelion clocks taking pictures against the blue, blue sky and then chasing tiny insects around with that macro lens (boy, ants are fast).
The evening brought curry, a few DVDs on the computer and an early night (for me - the kids were too excited by the sleepover to sleep!) Very odd to spend just one night in house we may (keep them crossed) live in soon.
Will have to do something about the birds nesting in the trees by the house. Kept me awake half the night with their cheeping.
