A bit of homework

Being part of the generation that was taught that creativity and self expression was more important than grammar and understanding language poetry has always intimidated. But after seeing Joe Dunthorne read at the Faber event last week decided my homework for the next few weeks is to try and get a baic grip on poetry. I want to understand it more so reading it becomes more enjoyable.
