Mr. Rooster's Closeup

He is one of my favorite things to photograph. He has such beautiful colors and stands still long enough for me to get his face. Here is a shot of him in January. He's grown a little since then. He's about a year old now.


I took this picture using Manual mode. I'm sure it could be better, but I'm learning!


My camera keeps resetting the date when I take out the battery. It doesn't happen every time, so I'm not sure what it is. Does anybody know why this would be happening?


I got off work early, took Evie to the dog park with the husband, and now I'll be heading to school in 30 minutes.
