An Unusual Bouquet

It dawned on me while I was shooting some Etsy pics that this looks like some strange & unusual flower bouquet.

Antique wooden lace bobbins, I have a complete love of old wood, the grain and texture can be amazing.

If the weathermen are right (ahem) we're going to be hot for the next week. Hopefully hot enough to fry the remaining black flies. I think the black fly union issued a bulletin announcing the blood bank was back when I returned from Georgia on Monday. They got me good.
