Ivy on a dull day
I still can't find my little camera, so I'm stuck blipping with my iphone. The light isn't good today, and my pics on the walk with the dog came out very blurry and poor, so I had a look round the garden instead.
This clump of ivy is growing over an unidentifiable shrub. If you look closely, you might see a spider's web with hundreds of (I presume) newly-hatched spiders clinging to it.
The bluebells in the garden aren't native British ones - those, I learnt from the NHM Bluebell Survey have creamy-white pollen (the ones in the woods round here are all native). These ones definitely have blue.
