No, you don't understand. I LOVE big trees.
There's something so homey and wise about them. Sometimes I just want to run up to the ones by my house and say "I missed you!"
Needless to say, I seriously have missed the big trees in Aledo. I spent part of the afternoon just laying in the grass and basking in the Texas sun and enjoying the sights and sounds of summer. Recess was happening just up the street at the nearby school and I love the sound of kids at play.

I particularly love this picture because I didn't even notice the finite details of the leaves until after I pulled it up on the computer. Check out that heart shape. God is such an incredible artist. I am always amazed how much the little details matter to him.
