Thistle Down

By Ethel

Little Red-Elf

O...I'd like to go,
With that little red-elf.
And see my childhood place,
All by myself.

Those thirsty hills,
With the little red-elf.
I'd like to climb,
All by myself.

And stop at the spring,
With the little red-elf.
To kneel and drink,
All by myself.

To watch the cliffs,
With the little red-elf.
And see hawks sailing,
All by myself.

That childhood place,
With the little red-elf.
I'd like to go,
All by myself.
