Found out last night that the obscure diagnosis I suggested for a very complex patient is actually the right one. Very personally satisfying, especially since we now have some other data to suggest it may not be as rare a problem as previously thought. Some interesting work ahead, it seems...

On the down side, my left foot has been sore after my last few runs and, after last night's run, am finding it difficult to walk today. Have been icing it in the hope it doesn't put a spanner in the works of my fun run ambitions. Fingers crossed...
