Lilac Bee.

Most of you know I love big bumble bees and this lady is certainly the largest I've seen this season. I was attracted to the lilac tree in the lane by the heady scent of the flowers and as I got closer I could hear and then see the bees, hover flies and other insects enjoying the flowers also.

I believe this is a large Buff Tailed Bumble Bee, if you know better then please correct me.
