Community effort

Yesterday we had the community effort day, which is kept in our yard every spring and autumn. Everyone has done something naturally already before but this day we finalize gathering the leaves and trashes plus cut some of the trees if needed etc. Children are playing together and even helping with some tasks.

And of course after the work there comes the fun, so we also had a small barbeque-party with some refreshments available in the evening. This is quite common happening in finnish community households and very nice way to catch up and also get to know your new neighbors. Somehow it brings some humanity to this cold modern world where people are always busy and minding their own businesses..
