Iris

Almost impossible to take a poor photo today. It was HOT - yeh! And sunny. It took a few goes to isolate this bud from the foliage but I've now got the confidence to play around with the camera controls. Thanks J. I first spotted the elegant extension to the bud casing - for all the world like a ballerina's pose. I'd forgotten I'd planted iris as they didn't flower last year. Blue, I think.
