My neighbour's poppies

When I see poppies I now think of Cabbagetree and New Zealand. Her journal showed me just how beautiful poppies could be.

These were blowing in the warm spring breeze early this morning. A nice way to start the day.

Pidgeon Update

The pigeon situation was not as dire as I thought. The smaller chick is alive and well. It sat exiled in its own corner for two days, then I noticed it back in the nest cuddling with its sibling this afternoon. Later, both chicks had moved together from their nest into the far corner of the ledge. The parents are around and I think all is well in pigeon land.
