Next door

There's some interesting decorative plaster work in Port Sunlight, like the houses next door from 1893. I don't think I've seen this tree in such full bloom before. Too hot to sit out in the back garden, this is one of the days in the year when it's really good to have a shady, north-facing front room. Everybody's got their windows open, there are several families having picnics under the trees and it's very peaceful.
