Sun Blazing through.

I was not going to post a flower today. After all, there are other things in my life.
But after a read in the garden I was heading back to the house for a pot of tea when I saw this.
It was just one of those moments when the right flower was at the right place, at exactly the right time.

I saw that the back of this Poppy was much more interesting than the front, as the shadows of it's face were showing through the delicate thin tissue of the petals.

It looks as though it is set against black velvet, but it was just my house behind, without a window which I cropped.

I will try to do a flower/plant free blip tomorrow.
