Damselfly with dinner

(not for the squeamish).

I was determined to get some practice in with my macro lens today so off we went to the wildflower farm, hoping to see lots of pretty butterflies. Well, the butterflies (few as they were) wouldn't sit still and I was struggling all afternoon with my settings on the camera.

I finally began to understand a bit of what I was doing just before we came home and this gentleman was the last shot of the day.
