Warning!

This huge swans' nest was in a very vulnerable position by the lake at Llanairfechan today, but 'Mum & Dad' and the cygnets were happily sunning themselves on a platform in the middle of the lake. It's been a week of nests as my neighbour had seagulls nesting on her roof. The noise and mess was horrendous until she had them removed by 'the seagull catcher' to the cost of £230! Hope they don't decide to move next door onto mine!!

P and A came today. Thanks A for fitting 4 new ceiling spotlights as the old ones had corroded. It will be great to be flooded with light again tonight. Had a lovely day - out for lunch and then a stroll along the front at Llanfairfechan, but, boy, it was hot! I'm not complaining though.
