Curbar Edge, Derbyshire

Just back from a walk on Curbar Edge

The weather has been superb and you can see a heat haze in the photograph.

For the first time in many years I heard a cuckoo whilst up on the edge. At first I thought it was a child imitating one.

A simply glorious way to visit for an evening stroll.
