Statue on the Fremont Steps, San Francisco

The Friday hike was a city walk organized by Anne, who lives in San Francisco. We met at the Ferry Building and walked through the Financial District and on to Coit Tower via the Fremont Steps (lots of them). This interesting statue and many lovely gardens were along the steps at wide spots where we could catch our breath. From Coit Tower we walked down to Fisherman's Wharf and then back to China Town.

Anne has a friend who leads City Walks and she lead a fascinating one for us through China Town. After the tour, we had a marvelous Dim Sum meal at one of the local restaurants.
