Slithery Saturday
Some days trying to find a photo to Blip is a bit of a chore. Today was the reverse of that. Too many photos and difficult to make a choice on which one I'd choose.
The temperature in Aberdeen was 21 degrees today. Even higher inland. Spent most of the morning lying in the garden snapping away at anything I saw.
Decided to go with the one of the first things I saw today at around 6am on my way out the car to head into work. Snails. And lots of them. I'd estimate around a hundred in the garden. I noticed them when I accidentally stood on one, sorry Mr Snail. (Then there were 99)
The grass was wet, there had been some torrential rain overnight and I'm guessing the snails were using the opportunity to slither over the wet grass to somewhere new.
I think it would be quite a peaceful life being a snail. I could cope with that. But it would be difficult to get away quickly when danger strikes, as the poor snail I stood on found out.
